Il grande sogno è un film del 2009 diretto da Michele Placido. Il film rievoca le storie di studenti borghesi in lotta con i padri e di giovani lavoratori di estrazione proletaria, con uno sfondo classico di amicizie e amori.


Trama:

Il protagonista è Andrea (interpretato da Michele Placido in età adulta e Marco Iermanò da giovane), scrittore, che un giorno, ad una mostra in ricordo del '68, scorge il suo volto e quello della sorella (interpretata da Jasmine Trinca) in una vecchia foto. Nicola è un giovane poliziotto (interpretato da Riccardo Scamarcio), mentre la sorella Laura è una brava ragazza di estrazione cattolica che prende parte alla contestazione e alle marce per la pace. Altro personaggio di spicco è Libero, operaio della Fiat di Torino, interpretato da Luca Argentero.
